Judith Fisher, PhD

Position: Licensed Psychologist
Location: Berrien Springs, MI

Dr. Bernard-Fisher received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Andrews University, and completed a clinical psychology internship at Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Her training also included a pre-doctoral internship and a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, where she functioned as staff psychologist at the University Counseling Center. Her clinical practice includes both university and community populations.

Dr. Bernard-Fisher has a strong commitment to helping individuals realize their potentials. With a strong interest in the tenets of Positive Psychology, she focuses on individual strengths, resilience, and helping people live optimally. Her areas of clinical interests also include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-esteem, and career issues. She also enjoys couple and group therapy. Dr. Bernard-Fisher's multi-cultural background and fluency in French and Spanish have provided her with a deeper understanding of diversity issues. She enjoys outreach and consultative opportunities in areas of cultural diversity, family mental health, grief and anger management, achievement and motivation. She lives with her family in Southwest Michigan.
